Well if the meta verse starts like this then nothing will work right. One user wrote:" Facebook Instagram Messenger are down again. Users, from across the globe, have once again expressed their anger on Twitter. The outage is also affected messages sent through Facebook Marketplace. This outage's issues included reporting issues with Facebook's website, Instagram's app, and sending and receiving messages on Messenger. This comes just weeks after its parent company Meta (previously known as Facebook) suffered global outages causing three of its most popular platforms to go down. Last month, Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp all went offline for seven hours - and caused major headaches for bosses as well as wiped a huge chunk off its stock market valuation. The outage is another embarrassment for Mark Zuckerberg's tech firm. We're working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible," they wrote on Twitter. Messenger also posted: "No, your wifi isn't out. Sorry for any inconvenience, and hang tight!" "We're working to fix things as quickly as possible. "We're aware some of you are having trouble accessing our messaging apps at the moment," the company said. Instagram posted a message on Twitter acknowledging the issue. The issue appeared to have been resolved by 9.30pm, although a handful of users were still reporting issues. Website DownDetector reported more than 5,000 issues flagged by users by 7.22pm UK time - although the true number of those affected is much higher. Social media giant Facebook has suffered more woes after it went down on Wednesday night, along with its Messenger service and Instagram.
